Another mechanism to fleece Ghanaians. Even advanced countries allows import of damaged and categorised vehicles. The inspection regime will go to a sham and very corrupt setup to fleece Ghanaians. The accidents on Ghana's roads are caused by cars in bad shape already on Ghanaian roads. The government must start by dealing with fraudulent public officials providing road worthy certificates to cars they have not tested or set eyes on. Please let's deal with the internal corruption first. We've lost it.

The cost for vehicle export conformity services in Europe generally ranges from €100 to €400 for standard administrative documents, stretching up to €350 to €1,200 if you require full physical pre-export technical inspections and customs handling. Did you even think of that?
