Haha, Peter has been lied to so many times that when another govt is actually performing creditably, he finds it hard to believe. The former govt could have done better, if its officials like National Service director etc. were not chopping tax payer money Nyafu nyafu. While not enough, Ghana still has significant internally generated revenue. All we need is for everyone to effective management and all of us to be disciplines with a good dose of real patriotism

Power is not stable because of the quantum of the legacy debt, 80 billion Cedis. All savings made is consumed by paying off this huge debt whilst serving recurrent payments to IPPs. Reinvestment to maintain system efficiency is therefore not optimal hence the challenges. It will take years of efficient handling of yhe sector to fix these challenges using savings made.
