Gold is not a perishable commodity which would warrant it being sold by all means to avoid losses. The price of gold has been increasing for the past couple of years. Every explanation is a cover up of something fishy. That is why they don't make sense.

*Tanzania strategy:* Cut royalty 6% to 4% — miner keeps more without BoG paying extra forex. No loss. Cost of refinery $36-71m disclosed.

*Uganda:* Cut royalty to 0.5%.

So all three have same refinery problem — NO LBMA, all send to London/SA — but Ghana is only one hiding two books.
