A private jet is any plane specifically for personal use. It could be a large body plane too. Most millionaires use big planes typically used for commercial travel as their private jets.

It would have been better to simply write about small body and wide body planes; which is what you have done

Private (small) jets can also be chartered for PRIVACY, COMFORT AND LUXURY TOO, hence it can also be called commercial jet too. Your research is incomplete.
