oh please...there is no planning anywhere. no urgency to matters. when i came to accra lst year it looked like no one was managing the city. no trees, roads are still small, potholes. no street lites, you cant find trash bins to dumo trash, u see mentally sick people walking naked, some lying on the floor. busy market areas look very congested, traffic is insatiable, too much choking. prostitution is littered all over the place. i was driving from dansoman roundabout to wards last stop i almost got into an accident around control/exhibition where the burger king is. if you are driving towards last stop and you happen to be driving in the left lane you will drive unto the cement plank in the middle if you are not careful and to make matters worse the street lites dont work so just imagine. i had 3 busted tyres in Ghana. from 1957 till today you have the same streets in accra, the same gprtu bus termainal. so no one has though of renovating and expanding the roads? street lites? building mental hospitals for these crazies living on the street naked? renovating these gortu bus terminals? even trotro stops anywhere anyhow. why cant you provide bus stops or a pole that tells people that hey if you stand here the trotro will stop and pick you up. add a shelter so when it rain the riders are not standing on the street. till today there are no trains connecting our major cities. these stupid gh leaders i dont understand their thinking you go n borrow money and then you chop. look at potholes and degradation in accra. you call this a city? its an eyesore. go to makola and arts center. look at this filth. even the parking sports are littered with filth trash everywhere i was shocked why are we so dirty as a people? our leaders behave like children waiting for someone to come and wipe after they have taken a dump. fools. we cant maintain stadiums, we cant maintain pitches. our leaders are so stupid they cant even copy and paste what other nations are doing. disease, germs and dust and sun burn will kill you fools. even tap water is non existent people have to buy water on the street to drink. what is this? a nation shouldnt be run like this. dont get me started on trains. in this day and age all public schools, market centers, public centers should all have wifi. we need trains from accra to northern gh and from east to west. im very disappointed in gh leaders. they dont have sense. any idiot gets up and starts selling anywhere anyhow. they dont pay taxes to the city and region they live in. its like people live day to day and hope for the best. no one has any trust in the govt or in any govt institution. its living at home with parents they dont feed you or encourage you in any way instead they want you to contribute to the home expenses. people have replaced hard work, smart work with conniving, fraud, stealing and poisoning. how did Ghana get here?
