  What's most worrying? The arbitrary adjustment permits every purchasing clerk(pc)to adjust up to any level of his/her choice.However,the average adjustment level nationwide is 8kg/bag.A kg of dried cocoa beans is GH 3.39($1.80).The farmer looses about GH 27.00($ 15) on every single bag he sold to the purchasing clerk (pc).IF THIS IS NO SLAVERY,THEN WHAT IS SLAVERY?

  Its sad that cocoa farmers are in this situation.With this how does COCOBOD expect the youth to go onto cocoa production.Now that scales and weighing stones have been distributed farmers have a better understanding of their situation.But scale adjustment has not stoped. District Officers(DOs) and Purchasing Clerks(PCs)are still on top.After all farmers don't have a choice because all Licensed Buying Companies (LBCs)are in oneness.Arrest and prosecution of a few Purchasing Clerks will bring this problem to end.
