  it's a step in the right direction by GEPA though it could have been proactive and pragmatic not allowing the problem to land on its labs. because of technological diffusion and disruption and the global nature of competion, we must protect with caution the enviable market share in those markets ie EU & ECOWAS markets.

  GEPA should promote access to all African Union markets. That would increase GEPA total export revenue by 100%

  the GPS system alone is not enough, more should be done including the incorporation of HACCP,Labelling product certification,monitoring of production from raw materials to finished products,to packaging and mode of transport of finished products etc.however this is a tentative step taken by the GEPA hope more development follow.
