  It behooves us as a nation to fully co-operate and assist the movement in their resolve to bring an end to illegalities in the fishing sector if the industry ought to be sustained for posterity sake.

  As a nation we should be serious with the management of our natural resources not always waiting for some one to tell us what to do. I think we have Ghanaians who want to see our fisheries well managed but they are not encouraged to do so. Politicians should give fisheries scientists and managers free hand to operate. The Fisheries Commission and allied institutions must be allowed to work properly.
