The strings attached to such funds may be more stringent than we can tolerate, and that may be the reason why government authorities might have taken careful steps towards them. Please, inquire from the officials why they are dragging their feet at the money.

Take a simple road construction which runs through a thickly populated area for example. Common sense demands that cross bridges must be put in place to prevent catastrophies. The Adenta-Legon highway is a classical example of this folly. It does not have a single pedestrian crossroad. The President, Ministers, Party officials and so called foot soldiers pass there daily ; they see it. What is wrong with our brains ? Why are we so dumb and cant do things right but defend our wrong doings and mistakes with bitterness and insults ? Every departmental head who fails us must be exposed publicly and fired. We are sick and tired of ignorant administrators. Our roads, water, electricity shouldnt be like they are had we appointed competent and selfless administrators to do the work.

Total reshuffle is needed in Ghana or possibly a coup d'etat to rid all of them in the system to ensure things are moving on correctly. Democracy is not good for Ghana.

We are a society with no sanctions for wrong doing; instead ministers and ex attorney generals get new jobs when they have not accounted for their misdeeds in a previous job. Same goes to ex minister of finance supervising the payments of illegal judgement debts against presidential orders and he gets away with plus being rewarded with a new post in Mahamas government;
