  interest rates in Ghana are 12% in usa 2%..Where do you think the most loans are made?? I just bought a new truck for 5% this month..Don't think that helped the economy of both GM (auto company)-The dealership and of course the gov. because they are going to charge me property tax on a $25,000 pickup truck instead of the 1996 model that was valued at $2000..Low interest rates will allow people to buy home, So that carpenters,masons.plumbers and electric workers will have jobs and people that sell cement and blocks with see sales...So go back to school and learn..High interest rates only help me and others when saving money..And money is saving accounts is not helping the economy it has to be spent to produce profit and sales & vat tax!
