What is wrong with Africans? Free trade should be free trade whether you sell kenkey or ice water. Citizens in the sub region should be able to live and work and travel freely. Learn from Europe and take the barriers down.

Yet Nigeria crosses this vast Atlantic ocean, and goes to Brazil to buy salt to refine their oil, and also for their domestic consumption, whilst Ghana's salt which is less than 500 miles away "rots".

Please, Nigeria, YOU DO ME, I DO YOU. MAN NO GO VEX. If you buy our salt, we will get money to buy goods from your indegenes ... PERIOD !

Am 100% Ghanaian and i must admit, my people are complete idiots and very lazy. Ghanaians have low self esteem and as a country, we lack great thinkers. Lets be honest, we are still looking up to the white man to dig up bore holes in our villages.Despite our universities like UST, Legon etc, we still depend on outside help for basic technical skills. What we do best as a country is sex, finish! I was fortunate to visit Europe and it was really sad to see Ghanaian cleaners all over the place. Some have been cleaning for 20 yrs. You will never find a Nigerian cleaner in Europe, they are all Doctors, Phamacist, Lawyers and accountants. The illiterates amongst them are even engaging thier IQ to do what is popularly known as 419( ofcourse i dont encourage it). Let me be clear with you my fellow country men, the Nigerians are by far superior to us. They may be criminals but at least they value education. Ghanaians spend their whole life worshiping. We are trully sick people who need help. We beleive in female circumcision and black magic. What a shame, and we feel so inferior to the white man. God forgive us,we are systematically linquishing(not sure if is the right word) our rights to our own natural resources to foreign goverments. Instead of our radio stations drumming the injustice in the society especially amongst the goverment officials, they rather provide a platform to abuse higher beings like the Nigerians. Shame on you, focus on Wulome, ask the Asante hene about his mansion in London and the Gold he lost whilst in Holland. Focus on more important things and stop worrying about the Nigerians who are by far sensible than the average Ghana man, especially you the reader of this article.

As an idiot, you never appreciate the fact that Ghana affords both rich and poor Nigerians a peaceful abode in Ghana. You stupid and smelly Nigerians never fail to mention- derogatorily, the fact that Ghanaians were in your country. Yes they were, and you forced them out, now it is you coming to their country. If Nigeria is so rich as you claim, what on earth are you doing in Ghana ? For your information, Ghanaian professionals- teachers, doctors , engineers etc. contributed a great deal to you economy then, so do not make it seem like all Ghanaians did during your boom times was menial jobs.

Instead of exploiting the anonymity that the internet offers, to parrot your shallow input, read and understand what is going on. Ghana un/like Nigeria have laws designed to benefit its citizens, and they will be adjusted according to the perceived benefits to be gained from it. You expect us to follow the ECOWAS laws to the letter while other member states- especially Nigeira make it almost impossible for our citizens to trade in their country. Are you out of your mind or you never had one to begin with.

May I also add that Ghana stands to gain quite a lot from the reciprocal implementation of the ECOWAS, but at this juncture we need to tread cautiously before fair play is assured. If you do not like what we stand for, go as far as enforcing in your country, "Ghana must go" laws.

Interesting way to express how Nigerians fee about Ghanaians. Fro starters, Nigerians are in Ghana much against their will, and really do not like the fact that attention is being paid to Ghana for the right reasons. The lifeline- petroleum and power, you claim to supply Ghana is not free and Ghana has found its own- thank God. Like an elder once told me "making money requires good management of what you already have". Ghana does not need an everlasting reservoir of oil to do well. To me it is even a blessing that, there is a clear awareness that it will not last that long. Such information will trigger a sense of urgency to invest in other sectors of the economy. Singapore has no natural resources, better still Japan has none that I can think off yet they are eons ahead of all but a few countries economically.

Keep your "dirty" oil, we will survive without it like we have done in the past.
