If STC has 30 buses, they should operate with staff required for that number of fleet of buses and build the future from there. There is no need to pump in any additional buses. All STC needs at this stage is cutting its coat ...

All STC needs at this stage is cutting its coat according to its size. This is the solution and nothing more and nothing less.

STC needs some new personell ,but sacking all of them wont be the solution.There is an organizational culture such an action will alter and cause serious dislocation for the new company formed.A manpower audit will be needed ...

STC needs some new personell ,but sacking all of them wont be the solution.There is an organizational culture such an action will alter and cause serious dislocation for the new company formed.A manpower audit will be needed ,but STC should use brand of buses others do not operate and that will help them.Many of the setra parts could not be stolen and sold.

If discipine has broken down to the extent that buses are being cannibalised and parts stolen by unscrupulous staff, then management of STC have no basis to remain at post.

If discipine has broken down to the extent that buses are being cannibalised and parts stolen by unscrupulous staff, then management of STC have no basis to remain at post.

SSNIT must sack the Board and management of STC, put in place a new management of competent and experienced persons from outside STC, and ask every single member of staff to reapply for their posts with a view to weeding out the bad nuts and reducing the head count. Security must be revamped as a matter of urgency to halt the theft of vehicle parts and equipment.

The new STC should put customer service and profitability first.
