I believe all the funding has gone into the usual bureaucracy, paying fat salaries and all the unbelievable perks to their appointed cronies. In the civilized world, venture capital is entirely run by private companies using their own resources to make money from the viable businesses that they support. Ghana government already runs the MASLOC that was to finance small businesses and should have confined itself to that objective instead of this venture capital business.
Ghana is truly a Banana Republic!

So far several SME's face acute capital challenges to either start,revamp or expand due to critical interest rates of between 20 and 40 percent for loans rendered to up and coming local investors and traders.How can any better achievement generates from projects with lending 20-40 percent lending rates....SEED AND STARTUP'S and LEVERAGE industries in Ghana are currenntly threatend and underperforming ....hence the fall of manufacturing output in Ghana and the surge of IMPORT CONSUMER PRODUCTS from China and India flooding everywhere in Ghana ... and yet Ghana boast to count herself as among top 5 fastest emerging market in the world.
Aren;t Ghanaians deceiving fooling and boasting of economic pretentions when infact the economy is draining into CONSUMER DEPENDENCE ECONOMY amounting to higher national debt and loan deficit ? Have our policy makers lost sight of the mess and gloomy future facing Ghana's manufacturing sector by failing to promote MADE IN GHANA goods? CHINESE AND INDIANS CONSUMERS IMPORTED GOODS CREATSMORE JOBS IN INDIA AND CHINA WHILE GHANIANS CRIPPLE
