  Govt should ban all small scale mining. It is not good for the country. Also the Govt doesn't have the capacity or resources to regulate small scale miners.

  The only way to stop these foreign citizens from illegal activities here would be for the NDC administration to stop foreigners entering the country initially as tourists and then applying for and getting issued with visas for business here in Ghana. Sincerely there are far too many unwanted Chinese citizens here roaming in the remoatest areas of Ghana - searching for GOLD! - how many Ghanaian citizens would be allowed to roam around contrysides in China aimlessly and allowed to commit commercial crimes in that communist state. Our leaders here are rather far too soft in dealing with these illegal Chinese citizens and unless the NDC government does something about the current situation I am afraid the public would soon exercise their civil rights to route out these louts from the country by any possible means available. The Chinese are not the only foreign criminals in this country today, there are others from Asia too, abate in smaller numbers all seeking their fortune in other illegal activities - they all need to be looked at before it is too late. Most people are losing their patience over the illegal influx of these numerous criminal characters from Asia.
