Does this commensurate with tangible assets owned by Ghanaians? Can we see increase in physical infratructure. If so why then Railways, roads, companies are all collapsing? Poverty on the increase with its attendant high cost of living and frequent power outages. We always hear these rethorics but nothing well has come out from our policies. Water bodies drying and polluted by our Chineses creditors and no one cares. Are we safe? Can posterity forgive our current crop of leaders? Oh mother Ghana.

If water and electricity were regularly available, I don't think anybody will hesitate to pay their taxes. How do you expect someone who makes less than 6 Cedis in 24 hours to be paying taxes regularly? And yet you have a man with a good foresight who decides to alleviate some of the burden from the poor parents with free education humiliated as if he has committed a crime. What you sow is what you reap, and I am 100% sure Ghanaians will reap the benefits of their poor judgement.

Few weeks ago I read that the president who recently received ataggering salary increase was asking Ghanaian public sector workers to exercise restraint in their pay demands. Yet he is unable to ask his ministers to demonstrate competence in the management of Ghana's economy.
Why are we so blessed with so many educated fools?

If the figure quoted is 48% of our GDP then Ghana is indeed very poor. This calls for better use of public money and stop stealing you politicians.
