For the effective implimentaion
of our budjet plans corruption should be put under arrest. Mr. President have courage to make pronouncements on corrupt practices in the country and how you plan to fight it.

If Mahama's government adheres to Fitch's and the failed market economists' advice-cum-threats and abort potential construction projects and other promises he had made to Ghanaians during the election campaign, his government will go down as a failure at the end of its term. If that happens, NDC will never come to power for a long, long time. The NPP will sweep it out of government completely to develop the country. It is, therefore, imperative for Mahama to call Fitch Ratings' bluff and spend Ghana out of its present doldrums. After all, Ghana has oil, gas, gold and significant quantities of other natural resources that should attract investors whether it is downgraded to insolvent status or not. In fact, there are potential investors who will scramble for opportunities to invest in Ghana to take advantage of its favourable policies and tranquil political environment. All the country needs doing is maintaining a serene political atmosphere because oil and gas, not to mention diamond and gold, are hot cakes for potential investors. And Ghana has them in commercial quantities lying beneath the seas and lands awaiting to be exhumed. So, right now, Ghana does no need to pile more austerity measures onto itself; it has had enough of them since 1980 to 2000 and beyond without dividends. Enough is enough; the endurance of the people is at its limit now. President Mahama must avoid aggravating the current hardships brought about by the shortages of electricity, water, petroleum products, lack of infrastructure in the country, by reneging on his promise to make Ghana better.

Over GHC 8 billion was spent in the past 3 - 5 months without parliamentary approval. What a shame system... ripping off the future generation of the fortunes of Ghana.
