  Concept laudable but lacks continuity and sustainability. Under the Ministry of Local Gov,t there was the CRDP ( Community- based Rural Development Project) which had the same if not similar objectives. In the Western Region alone about nine projects were selected and supported to undertake skills training and development. One of these projects is the " Western Coast Jewellery Enterprise that undertook the training of young male and female adults in the skills of Jewellery production, branding and marketing now located at Gold House- APREMDO on the APPOLO - DUPAUL Road. This is my Enterprise. Unfortunately, this new initiative has failed to track these previous training Centres with the view to factoring their activities in the new scheme of things. This is unfortunate and regrettable. I therefore wish to suggest that for continuity sake the Mangement of SDF Grants should make efforts to track these existing Organizations and rope them into the new scheme. After all the overall objective is to impart employable skills to the teeming unemployed youth and reduce poverty. Thanks for this rare opportunity.
