  What has happened since the much touted single digit inflation by the Ndc as unprecedented?? So now is the inflation rate precedented?? so what next NDC are we going forwards or backwards?

  Single digit inflation would not last forever, as the economy is dynamic. We were blessed to have single digit inflation for over two years, which was unprecedented in our history.

  Single digit inflation would not last forever, as the economy is dynamic. We were blessed to have single digit inflation for over two years, which was unprecedented in our history.
  
  We must continue to pursue the prudent economic policies of the past four years to bring down inflation to single digit again. It will be difficult given the wage demands in the public sector. In fact, the current inflationary pressures are largely due to the implementation of the single spine salary scheme which put money in the hands of public workers without an accompanying increase in production of consumer goods.
