This response does not answer the substantive question at stake here. ie. are local vendors losing out to foreign vendors and will this result in subsequent loss of Ghanaian jobs/reduction in taxes for the Government of Ghana ...

If as he has said he wishes to maintain integrity of the Airtel Brand and being mindful of their obligations to stakeholders, he could for example state what is being done in this instance to prevent the loss of jobs in Ghana and if the new foreign vendors would be obliged to have local content in their services.

The excuse of re-evaluating relationships which leads to loss of Ghanaian livelihoods is unfortunately ''a corporate jargon'' and is no solution.

A friend that works there told me about this a few weeks ago about how their account resets have to be done from India now and I wondered why it's not a big deal that Ghanaian jobs are being outsourced to India.
