  some People argue about Ghana constitution and our chieftaincy and conclude that there is no knig in our constitution-one Thing they forgot is that Ashanti kingdom was there before even the whiteman came to Ghana. either you like it or not Ashantis had a unique kingdom and the leader is the king

  Why not allow Asantes to bestow this honour on their traditional leader? Whilst the king of Buganda (Uganda), Lesotho, Zanzibar, the Zulu king and others might wish to contest "who is the greatest among them", I really don't see why anyone should be flustered about Asantes calling the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II their "King".
  
  That is of course, as long as they do not refer to him as the "king of Ghana" as the nation has never had a "unifying king" and the nature of our stool land and tenure system simply wouldn't allow one person to have ruled over all others. This did not happen in the past, and is most unlikely to occur in the 21st Century. We also should be living in harmony and respecting each other's cultural values, norms and attributions (however much we may differ from them).

  every brand new item bought must have a two years guarantee, if it got damaged before the guarantee expire the purchaser had the right to demand a repair for free of Charge from the dealer or replacement of the said item.
  These are some of the things in the EUROPEAN countries that make the manufacturers to produce high Standard items- because it goes against them if the items are inferior and in competetive market discredit their Image.this challenged them to live up to expectations.
  
  These chinise People do made some Quality goods into the european contries but when it Comes to Africa because they are not bond for repair or replacement they send all the inferior things to our people

  With all due respect my king, Nana Kwaku Dua, I think it could be prudent if you could be fair to the people of Ashanti and yield a good chieftainship by fairly handling chieftaincy disputes in Ashanti, and stop collecting unnecessary property taxes, thus, you can go ahead and counsel manufacturers to produce quality goods in Ghana.

  I applaud the Asantehehe's clarion call to manufacturer's to produce quality products!But when " buga buga" rawlings forced himself onto Ghanaian political theater what did we see?We saw rawlings' disdain for Akan industriaists like Mr. Kwabena Siaw of Tata Brewery now Achimota Brewery,Mr. Kwaku Owusu of Kowus Motors,Mr. Boakye Mensah of Boakye Matress.Akwasi Prempeh of Handycem and Ghacem paints,Poku Transport, Appiah Menka of Appino Soap,Darko Farms, ITG etc.Most of these industrialists died in exile ie Mr.Siaw in Liberia. When Mr.Siaw Somebody from a little known town called Kwasiho in the Eastern region, a man with no flashy letters after his name could sit down with the powers that be at the Mighty Pilsner Brewers and Financiers of Holland to broker a deal to build such a gigantic brewery in Achimota-Accra,the largest Brewery in West Africa and to be forfeited to the State by an envious bastered who couldn't even afford a plate of "yo ke gari"at that time but now owns ,Palatial buildings and now drives Rolls Royce on these tattered Ghanaian streets, what a shame.What did rawlings do to Mark Cofie?because Mark Cofie wasn't different from the trumped up charges rawlings accused the other industialists of.Or is it because Mark Cofie is from Volta Region and at the sametime his daughter became rawlings girl friend .How many Ghanaians own factories now in the country.Most of these factories in Ghana are owned by people who don't have the interest of the country at heart ie Lebanese and Chinese and these pseudo industrialists are only after profits because they know what can happen to them in future by looking back at the stupid Ghanaian revolution.How can a sitting Head of State incite the populace not to buy Apino Soap because the manufacturer belongs Opposition Party. Ghana we need divine intervention!

  I welcome the Otumfuo's call for manufacturers to produce good quality goods. I however think that we have to be very careful when we call for "bans" of imported goods e.g. rice.
  
  Surely, the emphasis should be on government and the private sector (through e.g. public-private partnerships) working with communities (including school districts) to increase food (e.g. rice) production and ensuring stability in supply as well as price first. Once you have ensured security in the food supply, then you can 'phase out' food importation. But to call for a 'blanket ban' of rice important "in favour of local farmers" is rather simplistic in my view.
  
  I hope that is not what the Otumfuo said, and that the reporting has distorted his actual statement on this. Any how, leaders and public officials have to be cautious in their utterances which can easily be misinterpreted and misconstrued if they are not careful.
