Alos, when the taxes are collected from those who pay Mahama an his team of fraudsters misuse the money for their benefits - buying land, companies, filling stations, etc at the expense of the citzenry.
The wantom misuse of public funds for private gains is what demotivates right thinking citizens from paying taxes.

I cant believe the economic leaders we have, if tax is a percentage of of profits, then it is assumed that the more profits businesses make, the more money Government gets. Ghana is seen as one of the fast growing countries in Africa which means business and standard of living is improving, however, the government is the only one not affected by this growth and has to resort to further extortion to be sustainable. Who is this tax geared towards, the minister's sustainability or the countries sustainability? This tax system has proven to be worth less and should be totally removed if it is not effective at making Ghana a better place.
