  How much did the government spend on the MPs, Woyome, Afari Gyan, JJ (for him to shut his mouth)? The expansion and growth of energy use should be a priority for industrialization. To state the government cannot afford to raise $200 million for a project like this is a shame and ought to be condemned.

  sell the company.Warren Buffet just bought NV energy of Nevada usa for 5.6 billion dollars..Just like water,schools,roads and hospital nothing is being done to extend or upgrade the electric systems..When everybody has gas cooker or gas hot water you will beg for customers and give rebates like american power companies!

  The energy crisis is a continued attempt to make Ghanaians accept a low standard. The reality is that if you cannot supply electricity to 24 million people then you simply are a primitive country. The excuses might work with those who do not know any better but more advanced minds in the country know that the money excuses have been used for years and cannot be tolerated any longer.
