  That is exactly what happens when a dick-head idiot is made a leader. I hope the dealers get hold of this stupid Haruna Iddrisu and lynched him. How do to put a ban on something without making full investigation of its impact on the economy? Now, as the suppliers claim, they have been starved of hard money to operate their business in the sense that those who buy the scrap metals are selective than when they are sold to the outside market. Does it make sense to put a ban on something while the local market cannot absorb or use the materials?

  We seriously need to dive deeper into our current shambolic educational system if we want to meet competitively the challenges of technological globalization and the brilliant academic advancements.
  
  How could any professional journalist or any trained journalist put such an outrageous misleading heading like this scrap here?
  
  I do not know or do not care to know who the Editor of the shambolic Herald News paper is but if I'm the owner of such media enterprise, I will give him the boot.

  What was the reason given for the ban? Too many academic degree holders in office and not enough business men and entrepreneurs who have actually built a business and employed people.

However do investigate non payments and dud cheques and punish where necesssry. Some scrap are still filtering through with the connivance og some CEPS officials. Don't give in as the LI is biting and the cheats are feeling the bite. Kudos.
