  THEY COULD BE INVOLVED IN EVERYTHING FROM CAR PLATES, TO FURNITURE, CHALE WATE MAKING,
  FISH FARMING, FLOWERS, MINNING, CHEAP LABORERS FOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION, ETC...ANYTHING THAT CAN FETCH REVENUE FOR THE REGION N PRISONS.
  THE CASH ACCUMULATED FROM THESE DEALS CAN BE UISED FOR SO MANY THINGS
  4.PERHAPS, WE NEED PRIVATE PRISONS IN GH. TO MANY PPL RUNNING AROUND MISBEHAVING IN GH.
  5.PRISONS CAN SERVE AS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR MANY TOWNS IN GH
  6.PRISON LABOR WILL BE GOOD FOR BUSINESSES. YOU PAY THE INMATES LESS THAN YOU WOULD PAY REGULAR CITIZENS
  7.IF YOU CANT FIND PRISONERS FR A PRISON, TRANSPORT THEM FROM ELSEHWERE. I DONT CAE IF YOU BRING THEM IN FROM OTHER NATIONS.
  8.PUBLIC SECTOR CORRUPTERS, DOMESTIC ABUSERS, THIEVES, PPL WHO DRIVE DRUNK, ETC ARE ALL CULPRITS.
  9.KEEP THOSE WHO DONT DESERVE TO BE LOCKED UP OUT OF JAIL.
  10. PRISONS COST MONEY. FIND WAYS TO MAKE THEM PROFITABLE

  The public need to see the new railway master plan when completed.Are we going to spend millions of dollars on this old rail system or planning to build a modern railway as we see them in Europe?To begin with all lands belonging to the Ghana railway company should be taken back including the Kantamanto market.We need modern offices,warehouses ,railway garages and workshops.

  Why do we have Ghana Railway Company and Ghana Rail Development Authority. This is a duplication and waste of taxpayers money. Ghana why? We seem not to get anything right.

  The start-up may be slow. However, in order for steady economic growth, a country must invest and quickly start up a efficient railway system.
  It may start out as a rail line for cargo trains and eventually open more services to passenger cargoes.
  Japan was successful in the railway because they implemented a flexible railway as early as 1949 before property rights, construction cost, and overcrowding became an greater issue.
  Being more flexible with the purpose of a rail line is the key.

  DIRECTORS OF GHANA RAILWAY COMPANY APPOINTED BY PRESIDENT MILLS IN HIS TIME OF OFFICE FAILED TO REVITALIZE THE RAILWAY INDUSTRY AND ONE WOULD ONLY WONDER WHY THERE SHOULD BE A NEW RECONSTITUTED RAILWAY BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
  
  THE MONEY TO BE WASTED ON THESE MEN AND WOMEN, COULD HAVE BEEN USED TO REBUILD TAKORADI, SEKONDI AND KOJOKROM RAILWAY STATIONS.
  
  LET US NOT REPEAT THE SAME SERIOUS MISTAKES OF THE PAST.

  I'm sure it is not a problem of directing the money into the wrong place. The problem is not being flexible enough to put the railway to a wider range of uses.
