  We need to be honest- the only way Ghana can develop is when we have honest and competent leaders and Ghanaians- this so called foreign invesment is just a mirage- and a complete lie - it wont benefit the country in anyway

  I concur. FDI is usually in the resource sector and is usually in the form of equipment which do not manufacture in Ghana and hence doesnt benefit us. Its time we focused on FDI in the agriculture sector such as rice farming ...

  I concur. FDI is usually in the resource sector and is usually in the form of equipment which do not manufacture in Ghana and hence doesnt benefit us. Its time we focused on FDI in the agriculture sector such as rice farming or sugarcane farming which requires more labor.

  Ho please, this is a country where a particular party have already killed the spirit of investors just simply because of hate and they still go away with what they did. Do you think the world is as fool like the way we are in Ghana? AHHHHHH. NPP came to power for just 8 years and introduce a sort of hate to investors, how do you think they will ever c come? They enriched themselves nothing been done about it and yet talking about investors? The only investors who will come and invest in Ghana are crooks like cosmos, Vodafone and so on. This are companies who involve in partning with individual government officials just to further ruin the nation into their pocket and leave people dying. Simply because of their tribe, family members, party members, as well as hate, corruption, killing and so forth. What type of dirty tribe of Akan is that. Ghana lies on time BOMB.

  Dear K v. K ,the fact is the kind of investor who wants to be wooed should better stay away. An Investor will come if he feels he can make profit. Those we beg to come are those who are always looking for better conditions somewhere else. Have you ever heard of those goldminers saying they want to leave Ghana because of bad conditions for Investment ? All we have to do is to improve our infrastructure--- including low taxes, well educated workers and i assure you these guys will be fighting to come in.

  deliberately deceiving foreign investors. If you wan`t to open a wholy foreign owned Company in Ghana, you are beeing referred to the GIPC and thiese people will not tell you that you can`t get money out of Ghana after bringing your investment. After your investment is done, you are confronted with very bad operating conditions and strange labour laws. Investing in Ghana is a gamble with always the same result. Name me one successfull German owned Company in Ghana?.....You see?
