  Good decisions, these. Next is to fast-track the implementation. Increasing intra-West Africa trade is a task that MUST be done. Vitally and urgently NEEDED is an IMMEDIATE decision to grant automatic citizenship of each others' countries to ECOWAS citizens from two different West African countries who choose to marry each other; and, dual citizenship to children from such ECOWAS marriages. Go, West African leaders, go. You rock!

They know how to talk big goals but when it comes down to implementation of their tea/coffee stimulated ideas, you realised shamefully that their talks are empty words coming out from spineless weaklings.

  CEDI POWER, NAIRA POWER, ETC., IS BETTER. IF YOU DON'T KNOW AND USE ONE CURRENCY LIKE EUROPE, THERE WILL BE MISERY. IN EUROPE THEY CALL IT CRISIS BUT WHEN THE SITUATION IN EUROPE IS OUT OF CONTROL NOW, MOST COUNTRIES ARE BELOW LIVING STANDARD NOW.

  It will forever remain a dream and a dream! Do our politicians recognize what is going on with the EU? Have they looked at Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal? Why is Germany resisting subsidizing the French who want to work for only 4 days? Yes, we need to trade with one another, but please forget about integration.
  
  We need to put our house in order first. Do we have the institutions to deal with any influx of people (or whatever) from the ECOWAS community? How are we going to protect jobs (assuming they exist)for Ghanaians? Please do not sell our country short!!

  THE NEED TO PROVIDE GREATER MOBILITY TO WEST AFRICAN CITIZENS BETWEEN NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES WILL BE PARAMOUNT.
  HOWEVER, THESE NATIONS MUST MAINTAIN THEIR RESPECTIVE CURRENCIES. THE EURO MODEL SHOWED US THE VARIOUS PITFALLS THAT COME WITH THIS.
