Is Ghan for Akufo Addo? Who otld him that he is born to be president? He will not live a day in his presidency! If this man has any sense, he would have first of all think of the country.No wonder, he has been inciting the Ivory Coast against the country he wants to rule.It will never and never happen.He will die with disgrace with those useless and fake pastors who are behind him. When the Cedi was "redenominated" to make it seem like ONE cedi was equivalent to ONE dollar, people were beating their chest and jumping with joy, singing the Cedi is the same as the Dollar.
Little do these people know of the strength of the economy behind the so called HARD currency. Even in their worst ever economic decline the Dollar, Sterling and Euro will always remain a global currency. Can we say that for our mighty Cedi?
We allow ignorant and often empty headed politicians to throw dust in our eyed far too often. Politicians are the only people who either understand or enjoy the so called "Middle Income" status. Everybody else is suffering to some degree in Ghana.
Incidentally only a couple of weeks ago I was talking to a friend from Nigeria who was complaining about how low the Naira has fallen compared to the Cedi. We had both just sent money home via Western Union and were talking about exchange rates.
He said that at the height of Nigeria's oil export boom, the Naira was stronger than both the Pound Sterling and the US Dollar.
"Abi look wetin the idiots don do to our money ooo!!!.
I just laughed understandingly. I wanted to tell him Ghanaians also have some idiots of our own, but I didn't.
He looked too upset because his Mum was critically ill in Nigeria and he was going to send some more money home to Nigeria.

Surely, Ghanaians must know that Ghana economic progress has come to an end, and there is no way up, because of the petitioners action. Whether Akofo Addo and his Party win the court case or Mahama and his Party are declared to continue governing the country, the economy will not recover. And, Akofo Addo, if he becomes victorious, will never be able to tend the trend back. The damage has already been done! Ghana should wait, perhaps for another 50 years, before resurrecting the progress. And that will also depend if one envious Party will jettison its "must rule by all means" posture.
