  However, it would have been easier to compare the consumption if they had used the same time unit: how many Watts each device consumes in an hour or in a minute.

  they should have said this appliance use this much watts in 1 hour...then people can multiply time more hours in case of air cond. or deduct for stuff used less than hour(hair dryer)

IF THERE IS AL UNUSUAL SPIKE IN YOUR METER READINGS. THE COMPANY IS NOTIFIED ASAP. COULD BE THAT UR NEIGHBOR IS STEALING UR ENERGY, OR A GARAGE DOOR HAS BEEN LEFT UNATTENDED ETCETC...WHY CANT SUCH BUSINESSES IN GH HAVE SUCH METERS? THE MORE YOU USE, THE MORE U PAY...SIMPLE N SHORT!
