  What did the government do with those receipts? What happened to the US$17 million fund? How the money used? I am not rooting for Newmont, but it seems some Ghanaian enjoy throwing in criticisms. This company should be dealt ...

  What did the government do with those receipts? What happened to the US$17 million fund? How the money used? I am not rooting for Newmont, but it seems some Ghanaian enjoy throwing in criticisms. This company should be dealt with drastically if they trampled on our laws.

  The government use these receipts to build infrastructure, pay teachers, health professionals etc. The government must enact laws that favor the nation and if a company is found to be corrupt, it must be dealt with. The probl ...

  The government use these receipts to build infrastructure, pay teachers, health professionals etc. The government must enact laws that favor the nation and if a company is found to be corrupt, it must be dealt with. The problem is we have very weak institutions and as such these foreign companies simply manipulate the system to their advantage. They are in the country to make money and will use every loophole to maximize their profits.
