  Do they make (with in-house technology) or just assemble? From reading the article, it seems this company assembles knocked-down parts imported from their partners. I hope they technology transferred is built on to help Ghana ...

  Do they make (with in-house technology) or just assemble? From reading the article, it seems this company assembles knocked-down parts imported from their partners. I hope they technology transferred is built on to help Ghana and create more jobs. The minister should address his message to the Electricity Corporation who owns and installs meters. Since this is a government entity, I see no reason why they should not be compelled to buy from GEM. This will help create more jobs for Ghanaians.

  very correct if its just an assembly plant then its worthless , we should have the true transfer of technology and it be whole Ghanaian owned as this is not space technology and well within our reach without these greedy arab ...

  very correct if its just an assembly plant then its worthless , we should have the true transfer of technology and it be whole Ghanaian owned as this is not space technology and well within our reach without these greedy arab negro hating bastards . this govt has no idea what macro economics is so can not think strategically talk less of acting right . they are too illiterate in the art of good governance when finance is concerned , all they know how to do is create an atmosphere and climate of corruption so they can steal .
