Search and read the analysis made by the commercial manager of Antrak Airline yesterday, just days after the owner, Asuma Banda, first threatened to pull out of Ghana. The same complaints were expressed by Dr. Brock Friesen, the ex-CEO of Starbow. He left to join a Canadian airline out of frustration with the Ghanaian government's policy regarding domestic airlines. Sometimes we just jump into conclusions out of gross ignorance of the issues. CitiLink, another domestic airline, has already suspended it business in Ghana due to the same concerns.

Starbow was very affordable and convenient to Kumasi and the service was good and the plane was well maintained. The domestic airline industry was doing well but I am sure the government is milking them with fees and taxes but failing to upgrade the airports. This is an example of the kind of things that go on in Ghana that drive away businesses that help develop the country and create jobs. For those who are saying good riddance, I wonder what you will say when you are forced to drive on pot hole filled roads.
