This a good idea, because we are not giving it for free. We need the cash also but the minister should have mentioned that as you politicians are capable of strategically stealing tax payers monies.

Hi Angie, remember that in our predicament(during dumsor dumsor) Cote d' Ivoire supplied us power even though they also did have power in some part of their country. It is about international diplomacy.

The impression I got from the "Dumsor" ordeal was the fact that we did not have enough power to serve the basic needs of the populace. There is nothing wrong promoting International Diplomacy but I beg to differ on this topic. There are other areas we could strengthen our bilateral relation with our neighbors(Ivory Coast & Togo). I don't think supplying power to the Ivory Coast would seem to enhance International Diplomacy. The issue is, we can Not provide what we don't have.

Trust me, they have more miserable people than we have - they have homeless people sleeping on the cold icy streets yet they turn around and give arms to support Ghana's economy and its poor.

I understand Ghana has energy shortages sometimes, but I think we have the capacity to serve ourselves and our neighbors if we commit ourselves to effective management.

This is lack of efficiency, and effectiveness way to manage. On the other hand I see where Kofi Buah is coming, he need the money in his pocket. The Energy and Petroleum Minister, Emmanuel Kofi Buah needs to be sacked for stupid ideas....his is causing financial and social loss to majority of Ghanians with idea of supplying NorthEastern Ivory Coast with electricity. Remember, Ivory Coast was in gear to fight us for our new found oil....Parliament need to debate this out...There are better things to do with our little resources than help a country that is not in our progressive interest. What has Ivory Coast done for us than cause trouble for us...Wake up Ghana
