In response to a reader inquiry, I am going to post a cost-breakdown (Thanks to the builder Vic Coletta) for the construction of the Aircraft Hangar.

As I had stated in my last post of Aug-21-2006 Aircraft Hangar Building-01 in St Clair Michigan, this Aircraft Hangar is a Metal Building 80 ft span and 80 ft wide. This hangar building is for Huron Avionocis, and the front of the hangar building houses the office and radio service facility.

Back in January of 2006, I had presented the design of foundation I have earlier presented a few pictures of this aircraft hangar building.

The Aircraft Hangar is 80'x80'x24' Manufactured Metal Building and was erected on the concrete foundation that I had designed for the building. Following is a brief cost break-down.

So, it happens that none of our educated illiterates like architects, engineers, constructors etc. etc. can put up a HANGAR???????

What is the point of our education which produces professionals? If at the end of it all, projects are being handed over to foreigners???? How stupid can we be? What is wrong with us? Is it all about enriching one's selves? What about the future of OUR CHILDREN?

How come Nkrumah and Kutu Acheampong managed to use OUR OWN professionals to build both Tema City (and many more others) and Dansoman Estates respectively? What has gone wrong? If we claim to have moved forward is that what it is about?

OH! GHANA? I CRY MY BELOVED COUNTRY!!!

BRAZILIAN LOANS ARE EXPORT CREDITS AIMED AT PROMOTING BRAZILIAN EXPORTS. IF WE ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THIS KIND OF LOANS WE MUST LEARN TO MANAGE OUR OWN RESOURCES PROPERLY AND EXECUTE DESIRED PROJECTS WITH OUR OWN RESOURCES BY OUR LOCAL CONTRACTORS.
