  since i'm mechanic i;m required to wear steel toe boots but union requires my employer to pay me 75$ per year to buy them! People building story building should have safety hats and boots, also stuff to shore trenchs when pipe is lay...it has steel or alum walls to hold dirt back..Required by Osha (occupational safety hazard act)

  Where is it REALLY cheaper to build Ghana@ 30% or USA@ 2%...Even tho the wood and brick/cement and Labour are higher in usa the MONEY TO BORROW is cheap!

LACK OF CERTAINTY, STABLITY AND CONTNUITY AND DECENT PAY.CONTRACTORS TREAT THE WORKERS ANY HOW.THE CONTRACTORS ARE ALSO AT THE MERCY OF CORRUPT GOVERMENT OFFICIALS WHO PLAY TRICKS AND MANIPULATE THEM. EVENTUALLY AFTER ONE CONTRACT THE CONTRACTOR IS BROKE AND THE BUSINESS COLLAPSE. WE HAVE TO ADRESS THESE ISSUES PROPERLY. THE STORY IS NOT DIFFRENT WITH CONSULTANTS. AFTER ONE JOB YOU WILL COLLAPSE NO WONDER THE BUILINGS AND THE ROADS WILL COLLAPSE THE SAME DAY THEY ARE HANDED OVER.
