  Ghana stopped using leaded fuels as far back as 2001/2002. So,what is Mr Amewu talking about? He should please come again. I have been working in the petroleum industry since 1999, and am still working in the industry.

  It is unfortunate that the government of ghana is running down its most precious resources under the cover of subsidies that goes into some few members in the economy. can any one explain to me why transport owners are not paid with interest during the minimum three months processing time? There should not be any amount of reason why they should not be paid such money when their investment capital is locked for three months processing time. who ever, can take this long to pay for freight must be made to borne the cost of interest. you smell corruption when you hear this kind of stories. Government job should be to be taking its vat and other levies in the industry and allow competition to bring down the prices for the people. how long can you choose winners and losers in the economy without introducing stickiness? until that is transformed the government will continue to run deficits in such lucrative ventures at the same time hurting the very public it claim is protecting with high sticky prices of petrollium products.

  The NPA have suspended permits for construction of new LP gas station for over 3months, this is big loss to new business and revenue to the state it needs to be address asap
