  I must commend Mr. Baiden for mentioning inflation to buttress his argument for utility increment. But does Mr. realize the level of inflation this 80% increment in utility and fuel will result to the nation? I hope the Governor of Bank of Ghana will act sensible about this trend and will not blame inflation on dollarization of the economic. People will love no matter the consequences of this stupid increment but it will through negative means like arm robbery, prostitution, dodging taxation, illegal electricity connections etc.

  Fortunately I am not on the grid. However, this increase affects me because I buy goods and services and this cost is passed on to the consumer

  The increases, should be conditional on the recovery of the outstanding huge debts owed by governments at all levels and corporate bodies and other businesses.

  I hope the increase in utility tariff will not be a licence for ECG to increase the salaries of staff and sell their vehicles cheaply to staff members while the rest of the population live in abject poverty.

  my lite bill in usa is $47(92cedi) for for 299 kilo watt hours..I'm sure Con-ed of New York City, Duke Power of North Carolina or Southern Company (Ga power,Alabama power) would make profit and still have low rates..They also ...

  my lite bill in usa is $47(92cedi) for for 299 kilo watt hours..I'm sure Con-ed of New York City, Duke Power of North Carolina or Southern Company (Ga power,Alabama power) would make profit and still have low rates..They also should be electric co-ops like the rural areas(farm/forest) where all profit is suppose to return to build the business like credit union
