  It is indeed embarrassing that in Ghana, where it had been cited that, Zoomlion had been involved in officially sanctioned and approved graft, the NDC administration has not shown and is very much unwilling to show the needed and required leadership, by ensuring that, the alleged malfeasance and rot, for which ZoomLion had been implicated ie the GYEEDA stinking conduit for the appropriation of public funds from the national kitty, by officials of the NDC gov't, still hangs in the balance, with the result that, such tendencies have found their way into other jurisdictions. Institutional paralysis to deal with such malfeasance and corruption can be squarely laid at the feet of the Mahama and Amissah-Arthur administration, who by some strange reason, have individuals and persons, who have been directly implicated and are the subject of corrupt practices, heading or in some instances promoted to preside over institutions tasked to draw up a framework to tackle such corrupt tendencies, and also to persecute such corrupt acts.
  Other companies such as RLG which have also been implicated in the GYEEDA stinking rot, have also not been brought to book. The Mahama-Amissah Arthur administration's unbridled and rather strong penchant for supporting corruption and protecting it's cronies from prosecution from corrupt and grossly decadent plunging of the national kitty is extremely worrisome, extremely putrid when juxtaposed against standards of conduct expected of any government, which seeks the welfare of the citizenry and is looking at solving the numerous socio-economic ills plaguing the country. It was just but a few days ago, when John Mahama, was making statements at the UN, to the effect that, policies and programs implemented by his gov't are to protect the poor. Are these acts deemed to protect the poor when one averts his/her mind to such unpardonable and retrogressive actions with the full backing and complicity of gov't? Indeed, the path Ghana is threading as a country, is extremely problematic and the statement by the CHRI for effective promulgation of an effective RTI bill is apt, to promote good governance, transparency and accountable governance. The Mahama-Amissah Arthur administration has by their actions and inactions directly and indirectly, continue to make life extremely unbearable for the average Ghanaian, whilst equally sending the country on a tailspin of economic despondency, mediocrity, retrogression and a completely failed state.

  This is just the first crack in the supremely corrupt armor of Zoom Lion. That the company is trying to dodge the bullet by claiming it did not have any knowledge about the unnamed individual's action is utterly ridiculous and insipid ! Such hogwash !! And they have the nerve to court public sympathy by blowing their horn on corporate social responsibility ? Nonsense !! When you make so much money from such "underhand dealings" splashing a few cedis on CSR is nothing to gloat about. RLG will follow soon with their brand of rot !!! Nkwaseasem !!
