maybe you can try 4 wheel drive trucks,donkey or oxen to cover small areas...You should also learn to can(even in glass containers) vegatables and fruits..done commerically they last 1 year. Done at home may have shorter life ...

Done at home may have shorter life on shelf..Even corn/maize when turned into corn flakes by manufactures in usa last for 6-9 months!
