  I wonder why we have police and custom officials at the various entry points in Ghana. I have personally experienced custom officials at the airport asking what have you brought for us at our airport, sorry did you say what did I bring to you? there only way forward is to pay people well and expect them to perform, we also need a serious, efficient, and effective independent complaint department so we can report or complaint to, and this could be at the presidency. I wonder if people read this write ups. Thank you.

  Consumers should just stop buying shoddy goods, & Ghanaian importers MUST eschew the greed for the quick buck & import quality goods. In some countries, customs officials check quality before they allow clearance, but can we EVER hope for this in Ghana?
