  One of the major problems facing African governments is the poor performance of various govt boards.These board members inorder to equip themselves must be regularly trained in governance, due dilligence, effective board communication, domain knowledge and regulations, innovative strategic thinking and coporate responsibilitie
  s including how to read and interpret accounts .Furthermore these board members must be made to attend other short courses as need be because knowledge is dynamic and not static. Board duties are serious matters and not a tea party for the boys.

I think these positions must be voluntary so that people can perform to their best. god help ghana

  JDM,the performance of your government depends on the type of ministers you have.Most of your ministers are not up to the task,hence the performance of your administration.Replace most of them with competent and experience brains.There are a lot of such people in the country,not necesarily NDC men.The first to go should be the Finance Minister.JDM,if you don't change this man your govrnment will live to regret.
