  JDM,replace your Finance Minister with a more competent person.The man has nothing good to offer the nation.Software alone to cost the nation US$1.7m?Wonders will end in Ghana indeed.The Finance Minister has been in the government for many years without knowimg that he needs this software to solve our numerous problems?So for all this time the Ministry of Finance has only been experimenting?So for 15years the nation has only been experimenting?So now our problems are going to be solved by the new US$1.7m software.We live to see.

  None of the politicians who spoke about this new development actually spoke about policies surrounding the issue under discussion. Politicians are supposed to comment intelligently on national issues such as this, and not jus ...

  None of the politicians who spoke about this new development actually spoke about policies surrounding the issue under discussion. Politicians are supposed to comment intelligently on national issues such as this, and not just provide any shallow comments that do not add value to the knowledgebase on the issue. For an MP to just say that "the new approach to budgeting was not expected to bring any significant change in the economic fortunes of the country" shows he has nothing to contribute to the discussion. Such a statement is shallow and can be made uttered by anyone. Politicians are there to actually provide significant policy directions and intelligent debate about issues of national importance. It is sad to hear most of them provide vague, undirectional and irrelevant comments on important matters.
