  THE NEED TO PROVIDE GREATER MOBILITY TO WEST AFRICAN CITIZENS BETWEEN NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES WILL BE PARAMOUNT.
  HOWEVER, THESE NATIONS MUST MAINTAIN THEIR RESPECTIVE CURRENCIES. THE EURO MODEL SHOWED US THE VARIOUS PITFALLS THAT COME WITH THIS.
  WAT DO YOU DO WITH NEIGHBOURING NATIONS WHO DONT PULL THEIR WEIGHT? SURE, YOU CAN PROVIDE THE NECESSARY BAILOUTS AND HELP, BUT YOU CANT FORCE A HORSE TO DRINK.

  Most of the over $541 million revenue received from oil in 2012 was drained by Government due to poor planning and spending decisions rendering most of the projects incomplete.

  investment in infrastructural facilities such as rail, marine, and air transportation is creating huge problems in the movement of goods and human beings.
  He stated that attachment to colonial masters and discriminatory policies are among the factors detriment to intra-community relations; “it posed serious challenges to our socio- economic and political development.“
  Ambassador Onafowokan, therefore, extend Nigeria’s sincere appreciation to ECOWAS Commission for organizing the trade fair, and reiterated Nigeria government’s commitment to continue promoting the spirit of community co-operation and ensure that ECOWAS dreams are realized.
  REPLICATE THESE ECOWAS TRADE FAIRS IN ALL WEST AFRICAN NATIONS, INCLUDING CAMEROON. WEST AFRICA NEEDS THE MONEY AND THE DEVELOPMENT.
  MY ADVICE FOR THESE AFRICAN NATIONS LIKE GH, NAIJA ETC. TRADE AMNGST YOURSELVES FIRST BEFORE SEEKING OUTISDE TRADING PARTNERS. THERE ARE SHORTAGES AND NEEDS
  EVERYWHERE. IF YOU CAN GET CLIENTS IN THE SUB REGION. WHY NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT. INSTEAD, U SPEND SO MUCH EFFORT SHIPPING RESOURCES TO EUROPE N NON AFRICAN NATIONS. PUTTING TOO MUCH
  UNTOL STRESS OF RESOURCES N RISKING RESOURCES SPOILAGE IN THE PROCESS. LOOK AT COMMON AGRIC PRODUCE FOR EXAMPLE?
  THE LARGEST TRADING PARTNER OF THE USA IS NOT CHINA, JAPAN, MEXICO OR INDIA..BUT CANADA. AFRICAN LEADERS DONT THINK AND ARE CAUGHT IN A PRIMTIVE THINKING STATE.

  This is ridiculous. With about 70% of taxes going into salaries and perks of ministers and government officials, how is the government going to make up for the shortfall in tax receipts? Well, our country should brace up for larger deficits and a weaker currency. This ECOWAS thing is foolishness.
