  it is strange that there are no comments made on this piece by anyone.
  
  were it be a NPP-NDC political squabble the place would by now be filled with all sorts tribal vitriolic that still characterize us as a nation.

  Some people seem to think that the very geography of their place of origin is the result of the Ashantis, their cultural realities the fault of the Ashantis. Which makes one wonder is it really a genuine accusation or just uncontrollable jealousy.
  
  Anyway, let's not turn western region into a Niger Delta through the machinations of politicians and profit-obsessed foreign companies.

  Yes i agree with you,this is because most Ghanaian are not interest in environmental issues.this gas flaring contains lot rich gas with can be converted use.

  Ask the majority of Ghanaians about gas flaring and u would realize how ignorant we are. Its time issues of national interest are discussed more often than political propaganda
