  It has been close to a year now since the project was announced. If financing had not been concluded why so much publicity then? The BBC and other international captured and brought the news to the world. The stakeholders must know that not only Ghanaians, but also the rest of the world, are watching.

  Since the BBC announced the news of the British company's intention to establish a 155MW Solar PV, panel-power plant in Ghana, many Ghanaians, this writer included, have, curiously, looked forward to hearing further development about the plant's establishment. Today, hearing that a formal approach has been made by the company to the government with details of its imminent establishment is, by no means, a very good news indeed. Hopefully, the government will do all to encourage the company to establish the plant.
