  So Nkrumah's vision was to see Africa always at the receiving end? This is daft coming from a vice-president. 1 billion dollars, in the scheme of things is too little to gloat about. Ghana, must move on from this so-called vision of Nkrumah. Nkrumah's vision of the 60's is archaic and no longer relevant for morden Ghana. The world has moved on but with daft people ruling the country, is it any wonder that we are stuck in first gear?

  It's a pity the way our leader's are really selling the continent for scanty loans spread for such many years. Did they learn something about "value of money?" That 1 billion is worthless after even two years. These kind of infrastructure capital can be raised easily if corruption, looting and other loopholes can be tackled seriously. The continent has abundant resources that we can trade for big returns instead of loan in JUST A YEAR. Let's get serious and make use of the resources in Africa for returns to catch up with the other emerging countries and stop this begging all over the world. What's wrong AFRICA !!!!!!
