  This government is really useless. So without borrowing they cannot do anything for this country? Parliament should not approve this otherwise we will go to HIPC again. Aba!

  Only a stupid government, clueless about anything economics and finance, would issue debts up to a whooping $1 billion at a time when its credit rating is down and corruption is at its highest. Half of the monies borrowed, if successful, is going to go to the NDC and their fake contractors, or to individual pockets, or pay judgment debt. Does the NDC government ever think about why our neighbors in the sub-Saharan region borrow at a lower rate than we do? If they do, why don't they clean up their ass before they go borrowing?

  with the exchange rate above 2 cedi-$1 even by Western Union means Ghana is sliding to the bottom of a slippery slope...Before you know we will be hack to 9000 cedi to 1$ and carry poly bags to bank to cary money again!
