  The NDC govt has lost credibility and cannot borrow again from international money market.The govt has also exhausted the domestic money market too;owing over GHC24 billion as at Sept,2013.
  To finance the 2014 budget,the govt has to look for any means domestically to control the rest of the people's money.This is what this MERGER is all about.
  Pres. Mahama is just a square peg in a round hole.Either he is INCAPABLE or INSENSITIVE.Imagine him using the country's resources to spend the Xmas holidays with his family and entourage in the EMIRATES.This is one of the most expensive places in the world to spend one's vacation.Bedding per night cost around $6,000;considering the number of people he went with.I see this as an INSENSITIVENESS on the part of this LEADER.
  Economically,politically,socially,morally and SPIRITUALLY this is a DISASTER.I am only deliberating on the spiritual aspect of this move and leave the rest for readers to analyze.
  Pres Mahama is a christian.A staunch member of the Assembly of God church.He has been worshiping with them;cutting sod of newly built churches.On an occasion like the Xmas, most important event in the christian calender.Why did the president choose not worship with his church or any other christian church in Ghana but to a MOSLEM COUNTRY.
  People would have understood the president if he had gone to a place like ISRAEL AS A CHRISTIAN.We would have thought he went to give thanks to God for what he,his party & Ghana went through in 2013.Putting the election petition,various civil strikes,power shortages,fires,economic hardships & others into consideration.
  GOD HAVE MERCY ON GHANA,OUR MOTHERLAND.2014,HERE WE COME.
