Its is heart warming that the government is now trying to live up to its responsibilities by engaging in housing projects for the people. the irony is that most of these houses when completed will be taken over by politicians just as in the cases of the SSNIT flats and many more. Why must the ordinary man suffer all the times? The lack of adequate housing facilities for the ordinary makes it possible for people to engage in corrupt practises because every one wants a house over his or her head. If the government puts up housing facilities in all major cities which will be fairly distributed to the ordinary man, then of course will inspire lots of people to work harder than before. Ghana needs housing projects and please provide schools, markets, shops, roads, clinics and play grounds at such facilities.
