This statement about expanding production shows how Ivory Coast's economic recovery after the civil war has become dependant on offshore explorations. This also means that their interest in the fields that Ghana claims is important to them. The commisssion should double its wfforts to complete the maritime demarcation to extricate Ghana from Ivorian economic conversations.

A critical look at the map of Ghana shows Ghana actually stole some of the Ivorian land perhaps because of they knew of its economic importance in advance. Travelling through the forest from the Ivorian village of Yaa Kesse through Alubo to Grand Bassam I remember crossing a large river in South-Eastern Ivory Coast but before I reached Half Assini, I was all of a sudden back in Ghana, then I as I moved west toward Jewey Wharf, I realized I was heading back to Ivory Coast. Later, I found out from the map of Ghana that I was travelling on a long strip of Ghana land that can be described as a peninsular. The Ivorians should have clamed Half-Assini and Jewey Wharf after independence. I believe it's now too late. Those people living on that peninsular are now used to being Ghanaians and it's too late to change them into Ivorians.

Because a larger part of the Nzima people are in Ghana not in Ivory Coast. It's similar to how all Trokosis would like to be in Ghana rather than living in Togo.

Ghana has so many literates but cannot match Ivory Coast in anything. Just imagine if they were as literate as we are. Ivory Coast has oil, gold diamond, manganese, nickel, iron ore and cocoa just like Ghana. Strange enough most of these are found in the Akan areas and most of the gold is found in Ashanti(Bawure) areas just like Ghana. Corruption is minimal in Ivory Coast compared to Ghana. They have the best cities in West Africa. They have 27 airports compared to 5 in Ghana. They have the best soccer team in Africa. They are the World's largest producer of cocoa. They have much cleaner cities and villages than Ghana. Stop talking about Ivory Coast because they are far better than your stinky corrupt literate Ghana.

That is true. Ghanaian should stop thinking that we are the first in everything: first independent nation south of the Sahara, we are this, we are that, while corruption is killing and stagnation is destroying the nation, other countries we look down upon, because of our arrogance of being better than and more civilize and more intelligent that most African countries, these so-called uncivilized countries are fast developing their economies, building modern infrastructures, new clean modern cities, well-planned townships, with play areas, recreational areas, parks and gardens. Ghanaians should go to East Africa and visit counties like Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania and countries like Botswana, and be ashamed of our stinking capital Accra. AN AVERAGE GHANAIAN IS VERY DIRTY, UNTIDY AND UNHYGENIC. We should stop boosting, stop corruption and build the country Ghana. With only one small international leaking, flooded airport halls, we call ourselves, Gateway to Africa. The only country in the whole of Africa that has foolishly embraced Genetically Modified Foods.

Soon after the dispute about the 2012 election results became public - culminating in Supreme Court hearing - the writer had put forward in many circles, including comments in the Ghanaweb that the Ivory Coast would overtake Ghanaian economy within few years. Although our dispute did not end in a civil war, as in the case of our western neighbour, it has destroyed the Ghanaian economic advancement to a greater extent. The Ghanaian cowardice makes them from killing one another - it isn't their natural inclination to do so - but what come from their mouths are sharper, noisy, destructive and self- damaging. They do not look at its effect, in relation to their welfare, if they open their mouths to destroy their own country if they think the government has wronged them.
