  I have always said that any one who brands funerals as extravagant and attacks it is an enemy of development and needs basic Economics lesson. Funeral is one of the greatest employers in Ghana and many Ghanaians make their living through funerals. One of the factors that make the Kwahus for example to be ahead of many other communities in Ghana is because of funerals. It is the main source of domestic tourism. If I have the time I will show you why you should not kill the hen that lays the golden egg.

  I think our resources can be put to good use instead of these extravagant funerals.You can't tell me saving for a funeral is more important than educating a child.
